Blog Bloopers

I am so pumped for the long weekend! I’m lucky enough to get Monday as a company holiday so I’m officially done-zo with work for a whole four days. Yasss. Can’t wait for a weekend full of drinks, sun, drinks, friends, drinks, relaxing, drinks, and drinks.

What better way to start off the weekend than with another blog post in the bloopers series? As a reminder, this is where I share with you the unedited photos that didn’t quite make the cut.  If you missed the original blog post, just click on the post title to read the content and to see the slightly more flattering pictures of me. 🙂

Channeling Your Inner Beyonce

How bloggers get those cool angle shots? I will never know.

Still trying to make it work, even though my face is in Kevin’s crotch. (See right foot in shot for frame of reference)

Thanks, Kevin for relentlessly taking “candid” photos of me when I’m trying to tell you where to stand

See above.

Yep, that’s my natural stance. Completely natural. No awkwardness here.

Smile through the pain of awkwardness, girl.

This is where I yell at Kevin for using the double chin angle again. IT’S NOT ME, IT’S HIM.

10 Fun Facts About Me

I was smiling quite nicely until an obnoxiously loud motorcycle flew by us. Vroom Vroom. Loud motorcycles are my pet peeve.

Jenn Wang is not impressed.

Great shot, Kevin.

I asked for a closeup of my earrings and this is how it turned out. -_-

Hi I’m Jenn Wang. I love long walks on the beach and have no left arm.

My god.

Check out that progression of Kev trying to mess with me.

Sometimes my face looks good. Other times it doesn’t.

The Social Media Dilemma

Smiling can be so hard.

You know that effortless sultry face that so many bloggers are good at making? I am not one of those bloggers.

Those walking action shots rarely make the cut

(See above.)

I cannot imagine what on earth would make me look this way…

This is the extremely frightening result me asking Kevin for a closeup. *shudders*

Let’s play Frogger. YOU’RE DEAD, SUCKER!

Five Ways to Wear a Button Up

No doubt dreaming about matcha ice cream.

Still dreaming about ice cream. But girl, you need some chapstick. Those lips are nasty.

Probably saw how dry my lips were

The norm.

Something in front of me (perhaps starting with a w?) apparently caught my eye.

Hey, a good tuck isn’t always easy to get without a mirror.

Still struggling. While Kevin continues to take pictures.

Taking photos is so. much. fun.

Like a chicken about to fly two feet

Chicken ain’t happy.

Why I Journal

Finally discovering those crusty lips.

Sometimes I have pose ideas that don’t turn out well.

We gave up after this one.

Have an amazing holiday, everyone!

  3. Hahaha Jen I love this! I really adore your photos and outfitshots and cannot tell you how relieved I am that you have those bloopers too, girl! I just started blogging four months ago and while I enjoy it a lot, I just have come to terms with the fact that I am not a naturally cool person. There is lot’s of work behind those photos and angles (don’t get me started on the angles haha)
Sending lots of love to you!

    1. Haha thanks, Debbie! It is definitely a bit frightening putting some of those out there…especially the particularly hideous ones, lol. But I figure it’s a great way to show my voice, personality and honesty through my blog!
